how can i help my teeth look white in a month?

my teeth are a dark yellow and i want them to look white i cant smile or talk because there yellow. uhm my whole famaily smoke so did second hand smokeing help make my teeth yellow

my teeth are yellow and i brush them every day 2 a day. my mother thinks its all her fault of second hand smoking and how can i make my teeth white without spending money!!

Second hand smoking would not have caused that - do you drink a lot of tea/ coffee? A lot of foods stain teeth. But there is a cheap and quick remedy! Add a pinch of baking soda to your toothpaste once a week 0NLY when you brush. Results in about 4 brushes. To keep your teeth looking good, try and rinse your mouth well, if not brush it after meals. I started using this a while ago and though I did not have very yellow teeth, my colleagues were all asking how my teeth were so white. Got them some soda and they are brushing away :)

First of all: Second hand smoking does not make your teeth yellow. It is awful for your lungs and heart though. If your exposed to it that much, there's really no difference between you and the smoker, you're both breathing in the smoke it. BUT the SMOKER will have stained teeth & yellow teeth.

If you don't smoke then you shouldn't have this problem...But it could be genetics (passed on from your parents) or you aren't brushing enough.

Crest Whitestrips are very good but if your teeth are a dark yellow then they won't really help. They will lighten up a bit but I guarantee you there will be no movie star whiteness :( You would either have to repeat this process for a year, buying a boc of whitestrips every other month but the outcome would be slow and expensive. It's about 30 dollars per box.

Note-The whitening tooth paste and brush on gel DOES NOT work.

1. If you want the sparkling white teeth, you'll need to get them done professionally. There's a product called "Zoom Whitening", available at most dental offices. It's pricey though.

2. They also have arches availble where they take a imprint of your mouth and create an arch for your top and bottom teeth. Then every night you swirt a special whitening gel into the archs and place in your mouth for about an hour. These cost 100 per arch.

Since you have described your teeth a very dark yellow, I believe 1 and 2 are the only ways to effectively whiten your teeth.

use Colgate Strong Teeth toothpaste. also some salt wd help to clean up the dirt particles between ur teeth and use ur fingers to remove dirt accumulated but not reached by ur toothbrush. Gargle with llight warm water. Let me now see ur sparkling teeth!

Buy tooth paste with baking soda and peroxide
I think crest sells something like that
and then use the white stripes
and brush your teeth after every meal
also stay away from things like soda..they break down your teeth

theres one where you leave em' on for 30 mins. every day for a week and it made my teeth 2-3 shades whiter
now theres one you can put on for 5 minutes i dont know how effective it is...
oh and general brushing of course.

try whitening strips at wallmart.
you use them once a day, and you keep them
in for a half an hour.
they work really goood.

Crest white strips work really good but there are severe side effects like your super sensitive to hot and cold and your teeth ache wicked bad. Vote me best please.

I heard once that celebs scrub strawberries on their teeth....Its worth a try.
