God doesn't 'need' people to fight battles for Him. People CHOOSE to fight battles on their own behalf. God gave man 'free will'. What we do with our free will is our choice, not God's choice.

News flash! I do not see anywhere in the Bible where God asked anyone to fight political battles on His behalf.
