Love doesn't really have any boundaries. However, you should really think about this 30 yr old. What does he really have in common with an 18 yr old? He should already be fully established in his life while you are just becoming an adult. Ditch the old man and find someone your own age.

I mean its legal, but gross. He like father material. I am 25 and my age limit is to never date anyone over 4 years older than me. Honestly what can a 30 year man possibly have in common with an 18 year old woman. It just seems perverted to me.

I know a 24 year old that is going out with a 46 year old woman. I don't really think that age matters, my dad is 9 years older that my mom.

Both are of age...and if they like each other, why not?

When I was eighteen, I was going out with a 29 yr. old...we got some funny looks from people, but we didn't care...we were in the relationship because we liked each other and didn't care what others thought.

well if that girl is truly in love than yes.. if she wants to take a chance then yes..she should no matter what other people think. But she needs to know, what would happen if they got married..can she really trust the guy, does she really love him, and will she cheat on him if she meet another guy closer to her own age she loves, also will he cheat on her.. and what if she want children, will she be able to handle it at her young age.. What about careers and stuff?

does he make you happy?
does he really care about how you feel and your opinions?
does he treat you with respect ?
is he there for you when you need him?
and all the things us women look for in a relationship!
is he single {not married} ?
if you can answer these questions and be happy with the answer you get,
then the only people you have to convince it is going to work is you parents and the parties involved.
good luck
you see there is no way you can make sure that he isn't talking you for a ride.

That would depend of the maturity level of the girl, she needs to judge for herself if the bf has a genuine interest in her or if he is avoiding women his own age for some reason. I will be the first to tell you that age doesn't matter, my wife is older than myself and in our culture (hispanic) that is taboo, but after 9 years we are very much still in our honey moon.
Basically, if they are both on the same page, then age should not deprive them of happiness.

girl no it is not bad at all I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 40 years old we have been together for 5 years and he is the best boyfriend that i have ever had he is mature so you don't have to deal with immature men that haven't grown up yet. my boyfriend doesn't look that old either there's nothing wrong with it.

a 30yr man is not hanging around a 18yr for the conversation..move on and find a guy around your age.
