yes, eventually...unless your windows are down, then it's more on the immediate side. the main theng to remember is if you can get out, REMAIN CALM, undo your seatbelt, and wait for the car to finish filling with water enough to equalize the pressure...you can open the doors then to get out. i keep a spring-loaded center punch in my center console at all times to take out the glass to give me another avenue of escape. unfortunately, sometimes passengers are unable to extricate themselves due to injury or entrapment. my prayers go out to those families.

Yes, but slowly, through the vents (unless you window was open)
To survive you should unfasten your seat belt then try and roll down the windows so you can get out - yes, the batteries will work for quite a while under water for power windows. Cars in deep water will dive nose first and sort of "bob" in the water as it fills. Trying to open the door is a mistake because there is a lot of water trying to push and keep the doors closed. The windows don't have to push against all that water.

The pressure of the water outside your car is greater than the air pressure inside your car, so the water would be forced through every small opening - around doors, vents, etc., until the vehicle fills with enough water to equalize the pressure.

No, your presence deters the water keeping it at bay. Sorry,
I couldn't resist. Yes it will fill up and with so much force that
you can't get out until the water stops flowing. To make it
worse, the water in Minneapolis would be cold enough to
immobilize you quickly.

yes, they are not water tight, so the water seeps in rahter quickly, also, the scary part is, because of the pressure difference you can't open your door untill the car is full of water and equalizes the pressure. By then it could be too late.

Yes it does. If your car is going in a river -roll your window down right awat so you can escape. Otherwise you will have to wait for the car to fill up to get it open.

yeah it can come through like your ac/heater vent things and if your car fell off a bridge the pressure would send the water through the edges like where the door is
