I heard i wouldnt be able to drive that day i got my license because i have to wait until the insurance office is open on the next monday??

if you are going to be added to your parents policy and you live in the household w/ them, and the car you will be driving is already insured, then you can drive sat & sun and call on monday to be added. you would automatically be covered under their policy if something happened.

You should be automatically insured on your parents policy. I would call the agent to make sure that you would be. then call the agent again on Monday to give them your DL #

Why not get insurance on Friday before the test? If you are/going to be on your parents policy, this should not be a problem.
