No we'll die because of it, if it isn't controlled that is. We may not experience the effects of global warming that severely but our children will. Ice caps will melt, coastal cities will flood, earth heats up, carbon dioxide and methane will be released form the ocean causing global warming to increase even more, and if all goes as intended everything that cannot adapt to these conditions will die.

The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 + - billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day technology came into being and will continue after we are gone.

The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.

These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.

This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.

Global warming in itself is a very serious issue and the potential consequences could be nothing short of a disaster on a global scale. Not a Hollywood movie style disaster but something much more gradual and far reaching.

The part that I think is stupid is the stubbornness that governments and large organisations have shown in the past. It's only recently that they've started facing up the the consequences despite warnings from scientists for many decades. If action has been taken when scientists first raised concerns then we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

It's ironic that the very people the world is turning to for help are the same people the world chose to ignore for so long.

Nope what's stupid is that all the people who don't think it exists have no reason. They just say that it's dumb yet there are facts to prove it. Besides, even if it wasn't real, what is so bad about a plan that would make us all a little more environmentally responsible? And yes, it is happening at a very slow pace but we need to do something now to prevent disaster in the future. And to all the people who say that it is just a madeup scheme to take your money...........what would you call the war in Iraq? At least we have real facts that show the climate is changing.

I am not too smart about global warming but I think it does make sense. I mean all the things in the air do effect the ozone and I could see how over time it could have an adverse effect . I think overall it's just all a part of God's plan with the last days coming and the world being on fire. I think that is in fact what the whole global warming is leading up to and it's very scary!

i don't think global warming is stupid. i do think that it is stupid that people and INDUSTRY'S have to pollute and make the earth all dirty, but i think that it is bad that we keep thinking about how harmful it is! instead we should start to act on what we are complain about. so when someone tells you how bad all this CLIMATE CHANGE is you should just give them ideas of how great it will be when you tell every one to conserve the water of turn off the lights or ride their bikes!

If they skipped middle and high school science class. When the Earth rotates around the sun it is closer and farther away. When Earth is farther away from the sun it is colder. When Earth is closer to sun it is warmer. And, the Earth does not spin just left to right only, but diagonally too why the sun is hitting the artic regions currently, and new glaciers are growing.

So in reality not stupid they just need to go back to Middle and High School.

Not as stupid as the sheep who believe that it's being caused by man. It's too frickin' funny reading all the GW pundits reguritate the blather from the Al Gore's of the world. It does provide me with constant laughter..I have to give them credit for that much.

No Global Warming IS a very serious problem we are facing now and are going to face in the future. I dont think people understand how serious it really is. How it not only effects the enviroment but also the ecosystem.

No! I don't think it's stupid!!! Our world is pretty much in self-destruct mode at this point b/c of all the crap we've done to it over the years...I mean, I don't drive one of those super expensive economical cars and I don't do everything perfectly to help the economy, but I'm totally aware of the situation at hand and I try to do my part as much as possible.
