1. The bible was written by man whom merely said they were graced by god. Anyone could do that, why do you refer back to a book written by man to conclude god's existance?

2. Faith is something that you're taught not born with. Holy brainwashing on a massive level is that of religion, if you do recognize that then why do you continue to believe in 'a god' specificly?

3. Some people claim that 'some' specific prophecies have come 100% true and therefore you must believe in god. However, what of the many which never do come true? Those are never discussed, are discarded as nothing, but in actuality are simply guesses or things put in place far in the future from when the bible was created so that the current generation and many after that will not even have the option to contest the bible's truth. Now we find ourselves.... correct me if i'm wrong but... 'on the verge of the apocalypse'? and have the option of contesting the bible in the eyes of the followers. Good century to come

--Because God specifically reveals Himself to certain people. God holds the power of revelation for Himself. He decides who will have the ability to believe in Him.---

So you're saying the 1 reason you believe in god is because other people told you that he was revealed to them? That's what it sounds like, and is highly highly illogical. And some people are born without even the ability to believe in him? Sounds weird to me.

--Because when God truly reveals Himself to people, it edifies what is written in the Bible. That's the key to why so many people do not understand. The Spirit of God makes things clear to those who He wants to save. Those people who wrote the Bible were inspired by the same Spirit that inspires me.--

Is it really 'god making things clear' to an individual or that individual having the ego required to actually believe that himself? "I am blessed by god, heed what i say and add it to the bible for i say it is true!" ready to follow me now?

--I find fault with your belief that the source for faith comes from we were taught. I believe that 'a measure of faith is given to every man'. And 'faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God'.
I really don't expect any of this to sink in to you though. You do not know or value what God is, and what He wants us to know. You therefore are going to have a tendency to reject whatever I say, no matter how I say it.--

You seem to believe people are born with faith, and the rest is learned? Seems a little unfair if you ask me resulting in servere doubt in your opinion with all due respect. "Hearing the word of god" is too hazy and subjective to actually submit as any evidence. Insane people hear voices, that doesn't mean the voices are real. It's almost the same thing, only voluntary insanity.

None of your points is anything new, but each is very effective in the fight against religion. The first is the best.

So many texts out there like to say they're from God or inspired by God. Conveniently, there is no proof of this, therefore no proof of the legitimacy of the text in the first place.

Furthermore, people do not understand what constitutes proof. Even if every prophecy of the Bible came true, that does not make the entire Bible true! Every claim must be investigated. Would you accept anything a textbook said simply because it makes one true claim? How about a hundred? No, everything must first be established.

There really is no way of knowing of anyone's specific God to be true, short of a direct experience with it telling you everything it wants you to believe.

Believe in a Creator if you wish, but recognize that that does not automatically make it the one you were raised to believe.

"How can you believe in a specific God?"

Because God specifically reveals Himself to certain people. God holds the power of revelation for Himself. He decides who will have the ability to believe in Him.

"1. The bible was written by man whom merely said they were graced by god. Anyone could do that, why do you refer back to a book written by man to conclude god's existance?"

That's what nonbelievers do! They immediately change the subject. What prophecies have been fulfilled? Can you tell me what they are? The reason why there are some prophecies that have not been fulfilled is because it isn't time for them to be fulfilled yet. Did you think that God has to fulfill all His promises before you were born? Where does that kind of thinking come from?

No one will believe in God except those who He wants to believe. Even after that all have a choice whether or not to respond to Him favorably.

I believe in God because God created me and the whole universe. Who else did? the world did not evolve from nothing. There has to be a God that is responsible of creating things. Use your common sense to think about it.
