God had to create us so He wouldn't be alone in the universe.

I suppose He didn't HAVE to create US, per se, but just on an everyday level, we must be pretty entertaining folks to watch to see what kind of fuddles we get ourselves into, and then beg for Him to get us out, which He is faithful to do.

He didn't want that for us, but when you give a person free will to do as they please, you take the chance that they will tell you to buzz off, as you can see, that is exactly what happened. Some of us love Him because He loves us so much; I consider myself lucky, blessed to be called His.

Excellent question; I'm sure you'll get all kinds of kooks answering you.

GOD’S purpose for the earth is really wonderful. Jehovah wants the earth to be filled with happy, healthy people. After God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, He put them in that lovely home and told them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28; 2:8, 9, 15) So it was God’s purpose that humans have children, extend the boundaries of that garden home earth wide, and take care of the animals. He says that he “did not create [the earth] simply for nothing” but “formed it even to be inhabited.” (Isaiah 45:18) And for how long did he want them to live here? The Bible answers: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3, 4.

God can not deny His nature and be God. He Must be perfect in all His attributes. One of these is to LOVE.. He created man knowing that many would reject Him. He would use His perfect Love to die for them anyway. He knew That even then they would put His love aside for the teachings of the world. But never the less His Love would remain constant. He also knew that a few would turn to Him and except the Love He has to pour forth. This would complete for Him a perfect Joy... Jim

"For behold, this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."

Nothing makes God happier than having a child, raising it, teaching and training it, and eventually seeing it grow up and be like Him. When we are happy, He is happy. I think many parents can understand this concept. Most parents feel great when their children do something the parent feels is good and right.

God also weeps when we struggle, hurt, etc. He lives for joy, however. "Man is that he might have joy."

In the beginning God wanted a corn dog. Corn dogs hadn't been invented because people weren't invented. So he created everything. Then he realized he didn't like corn dogs and has been trying to erase his mistake through giant floods and smiting.

He loved us to create us in his own image after creating everything he always said and it was good. even the morning stars leaped with great joy and was awed at his creation of man.

I believe that God as Creator is not human in his manner of thought (if you can even call it that) as he is infinite, and thus beyond our finite understanding. His motives for creating are essentially unknowable, though I don't believe loneliness is the answer. Curiosity, pride, or just the urge to construct something to pay homage to its own greatness, perhaps (though the last is very similar to loneliness).

Maybe a better question is why did we create god? Were we lonely?

He liked to walk and talk with certain people in the Bible. I think that is the main reason why He made us; to what we call 'fellowship' with us.

He knew that there would be trouble if He did make us, but He was willing to try us in this great mess that we make for ourselves in order to get the ones He wants out of our populations. I get to be one of them and I am glad.

But is that answer is too simple for you, I would argue that it is the simple things that God wants from us. Mainly He wants our trust, and that is a simple thing too!

he created us because
1) we are apart or a bigger plan
2) he could be bored
3) we are lik ants in his ant farm
4) he wanted to see how humans can evolve
5) adam and eves story
6) survival of the fittest
7) no reason

but basically what i think is we just here, everyone wants to know whats our purpose and other stuff, but if you live and die lik we are inteded there then is nothing really to wonder, just live to your fullest and die happily
