As others have said if you are travelling from London you have 2 choices. Trains run from Liverpool St and Fenchurch St. making a number of stops on the way.

Our friends from over the pond failed to notice that this question was on the UK & Ireland site (how unusual).

No 'train station' goes to Southend as they are large buildings of brick and stone which cannot move. However, if you mean from which London station can you catch a train to Southend-on-Sea, Essex. you have two alternatives. You can catch the 'One' service from Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria or the 'c2c' service from Fenchurch Street to Southend Central.

You can catch a trains from either Fenchurch Street or Liverpool Street stations. Fenchurch Street has the most, but at night (after 9pm) then you are better using Liverpool Street.

If you were in Charlotte, NC you could get to the area called Southend (a shopping/restaurant area near downtown) via the light rail line from Pineville (a suburb to the south of the City). This line is scheduled to open later this year and it has generated a great deal of controversy over its high cost and uncertain ridership.

A Southend train goes to Southend, usually from Victoria.

Depends where you are travelling from, but all Southend trains go to Southend.

If you are going from London, you would take the 'One' rail service from Liverpool street station which goes through Stratford, and is direct to Southend.

Maybe helpful to know where you are, as the service goes past a lot of railway stations.
