I agree he should never be able to darken the doors of Paradise again unless in European games, However if the rumours are true and he does come back then I guess we have to forgive and forget, he just has to prove he is worth our support and become the player I had always hoped he would have been.

As a Rangers fan Sean Maloney and Jackie McNamara are the only 2 Celtic players that i have had any time for in recent years, i even felt for the wee guy after the defeat in Ueafa Cup final. But i think the manner in his exit stripped any respect i had of him. If i was a Celtic fan then i wouldn't want him anywhere near the place but football fans can easily be swayed and if he came back and played outstanding then i'm sure he would then be welcomed.

I`m sorry, but he was too bigheaded in trying to get a transfer out of Parkhead to be with his beloved saint Martin. I said at the time he would flop at Villa and I got pelters from the Villa fans for saying it. Let rangers sign him if they think he is that good. He should have waited another two seasons at Parkhead before moving on. He is just another Liam Miller who got too big for his boots. I would rather have Naismith. If maloney doesn`t go to Celtic then i think it will be one of the also rans in the SPL for a few seasons and then down to one of the better sides in the first division.

let him rot in england, we payed his wages while he was injured which was quite often then when he gets offered a new contract he see,s the over rated premiership and decides to join a mid table team who will never win anything, so the answer is simple let him stay in engerland if he disnae get a game at villa he could play for walsall, he,s another who was found wanting and now wants to return to a friendly face well not at celtic park he wont c many friendly faces.

99% of me says s0d it you ran away and hell mend you for doing it. But the 1% realises we were missing that exttra bit of pace in the second part of the season that McGeady didn't seem to have. Saying that it was a good bit of business to get £1m for him in January
Find someone with that quality and leave Maloney at Villa Park.
Anyhoo I would be surprised if WGS took him back.
C'mon the Hoops

I respect Gordon Strachan's judgement on this issue and if he feels it is OK, then I will support ANYONE wearing the hoops. Its like the prodigal son returning, do we castigate his foolish move or (as I hope) do we welcome him back with a party. Shaun made a mistake pure and simple.
Let us show maturity as decent fans and not deride the wee guys error.

He signed for Villa at the end of January and look how Rangers halved the gap. Buy him back Gordon.

We don't want no more money grabbers @ Celtic. It's bad enough with Jiri Jarosik and Tommy Gravesen!

yeah mate, screw him, he's done exactly what liam miler did, **** off to the premiership and ruined what could have been a great career at parkhead. I don't want to see him back here, but if he did and he played well, id probably accept him again!
