If you don't go and he gets time off base then you'll always regret not going.
It's a dammed if you do and a dammed if you don't so I'd rather be dammed because I DID.
Enjoy your time with him as I know he will

Yes you should definitely go. You can never put a price on the time you spend with the people you love. Take the 50% Chance in a heart beat. Even if you don't get to see him think how bad you would feel if you don't go and then he gets the time off.

YES, You can never know how it feels to a service member to feel isolated from family freinds and loved ones unless you have been there.
Take the chance now. Even if he has to stand watch 2 out of the three days. It will be an uplift for him that you came to see him. Tommorow he may be deployed and you might not get the chance again.
He will be better off if he knows you would come see him even if for a short time.

If he is being deployed, go. Never miss a chance to see them if they are going. If not, Labor Day is only a few weeks away. Guess I don't see the point of spending that much money on a maybe will see him. You would have that much more to do things together when you see him over Labor Day

My husband is currently in Iraq and if I had to pay a million dollars to see him for 2 days I would...not just because he is the love of my life but also because I never know when the Army will take him away from me again for another deployment...I cherish every second Im with him.

Of course go! Every chance you get to spend time with him is worth it. In the future you won't have to ask "what if I had gone that weekend", because you did go. Even if it's only a few hours, it's worth the time and money. Semper Fi.

YES. As a wife who just sent her Marine off to his 3rd tour in Iraq I will tell you that every minute you get to spend with them is a million times more important then any amount of money you may spend. And trust me, it will be important to him as well. If you need anything feel free to email me. God Bless, and Semper Fi.

The time you spend with loved ones is priceless, I for one would not give up a second of my time being with a loved one. The fact that you are debating it and asking the entire world if you should go...well I believe you have already answered your own question.

of course it's worth it.... think of the wives (and husbands) that will never be given the chance to see their Marine or soldier or Airmen again.... I wouldn't even need to be asking anyone if I should spend the money...

If he was getting ready to deploy, I would be all in favor of it. However, if you're going to get to see him in a month, I'd say save your money and do something special for him when you DO get to see him. If you go all the way over there and then he can't see you, it's going to be heartbreaking. I know you love him and I know you desperately want to see him, but it's one of those things you have to get used to, being with a military guy.
