Why can UK officers only serve in SF for a set term (3 years I think)?

The setup for special forces is very different to the rest of the armed forces.
SNCO's are far more respected then even senior officers. You can get a second deployment if you want it and they want you.

Recommend for a change in the term of service in the SF. This must be relayed to the Planning Department of the Armed Forces.

due to the high pressure placed on their shoulders they have to be removed from that enviroment after 2 years for the fear they may end up going mad or mentally disturbed
