Indianapolis has one of the best zoos in the midwest, in my opinion. And if you're a fan of baseball, check out the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. It's a gorgeous ballpark! Downtown there is also a great mall, lots of nice restaurants, carriage rides, and the Children's Museum is one of the best in the world - and not just for kids!

If I was you, I would plan to take a trip down to Southern Indiana-Bloomington, for example, in mid-September-it´s a one hour drive south. If you´re fortunate, the leaves will be changing, and the campus is beautiful. On Kirkwood, Nick´s pub serves up the best stromboli´s I´ve ever eaten, the IU Union building is like a mini-city under one roof, and the history of the other buildings there are cool as well. On your drive back to Indy, check out Oliver Winery-they have wine tasting there all the time. It´s on 37 North, and the land there is gorgeous too!

What do you like to do. Try www.indy.org. For many people it is a trip to the speed way to see where the Indy 500 is. For people with children the children's museum it is the largest in the country. Another option is the NCAA it has the hall of champions. Just a few things for you to think about, As has been mentioned the zoo is great and is part of Whie River park which has the NCAA and great places to walk

The Zoo, the Canal, Indiana State Museum, NCAA Hall of Champions, Victory Field. They're all in one area on the west side of downtown. Close to the Westin and the Marriott. It's also walking distance to Circle Centre mall and lots of restaurants.
