My little guy (17 moths old) had got a horrible diaper rash. I suspect its because he is teething pretty bad, and it is hot as Hades over here.

The same thing happened a few moths ago, and his Doctor told me to use a mixture of diaper ras ointment, hydra cortizone, and neosporine. It worked like a charm. But for some reason it isnt working now. I called the doctor back, but I still havent heard back from her, and in the mean time my little guy is suffering. I hate to say it, but military doctors suck!! They really dont know what they are doing, and they are really irresponsible.

Does anyone know any remedies for a bad butt rash? Thanks in advance!!

I used a little Balm-ex which is zinc oxide after each diaper change to help prevent diaper rash, it is good because unlike other diaper creams you don't have to practically rub it off to remove it.

my little boy was allerigic to disposible diapers, so we had to cloth, the best thing for a diaper rash i've found to be is A&D ointment w/powder after every change, or to clear it up faster use corn starch, it really does work. good luck to you , hope he gets to feeling better

Try Vaseline.
You might want to try changing the wet diaper a bit earlier, as well.

Aveno makes an oatmeal bath and that works great! Soak his little behind in it twice a day. Should clear up in a day or two.
