I'd Recommend Pokerstars.com.
It's a great online poker simulation, with many, MANY servers, and people playing from all over the world. It lets you create your own profile and stuff etc, so you can build up a reputation.
You can play with either real money, or play money, the choice is up too you, and don't worry if you lose all your chips, you recieve 1000 free chips when this happens.
