Ahhhh! It`s so funny. When I was younger and was coerced into going to church I used to bit my tounge to stop me from laughing. Now when I see it on T.V. I fall out to floor Crying laughing. What the hell is wrong with those people.

You bit your tongue, I would bite my cheek.
The thing is, some of these people really believe in what they are doing. I know some just make the sounds, any sound, to fit in or be accepted because they've been told if you're really saved, you would be given the gift of tongues. Since they don't have it, and they fake it, they have a lot of guilt feelings. It wrecks a person.
Had they studied the Bible carefully, and used their own mind INSTEAD of swallowing down whole whatever they were told, they would KNOW that tongues were ALWAYS in a known language.

1 Corinthians 13:8 to 10 says there things where to pass away. Matthew 7:22&23 State jesuses attude towards people who do such things.
I would look at them with pity.

Never been around it but, I laugh anytime I hear of it. I do not know whether to laugh or feel pity for those who believe it is from God.
The belief that God would have anything to do with such gibberish is unthinkable. When that gift was given 1st century Christians, it was for allowing people of other languages to understand, not be confused.

Are you concerning those dramatic classes the place human beings start to jerk and cry using fact they are so 'triumph over with spirit'. Lol, i've got no longer witnessed somebody seize the Holy Ghost, yet i could set loose a snicker. i'm a poor guy or woman,I admit.

I did once, in a regrettable fit of rudeness. They were not happy with me, so I choked it off really quickly. Lost one friend that way, I try not to mock people's beliefs now no matter how weird I find them.

I've never actually seen anyone who was really speaking in tongues. Usually they are only speaking in giberish, and not tongues. Although I've read there have been people to really speak in tongues.
I'd like so much to hear someone speaking in tongues speak in real Russian, Manderin or Aboriginal Australian.
