I know that music can help me to change my mood and calm down. Music can also help to "get me going''
In an indirect way music (and its beat) helps me with my blood pressure- but I think I will continue my medication LOL
This would be a very good study for you . Why don't you conduct a double blind test and tell us your results !

Yep.. it does

just like when u get angry or sad.. listening to music beats if and only if your brain thinks the beats as a data lines.. Therefore not all music beats will effect a person, but only the ones which the person can decode mentally from events taken place in his life which are related directly to the beats.
Different beats give different information data to the brain.

Not directly. But music is known to cause adrenaline surges and the release of endorphins which indeed can have an effect on blood pressure through the creation of positive stress.

I find a strong beat makes me physically ill, so I would think my blood pressure would go up due to the stress.
