So....i'm returning from 16 months in Iraq in novemeber...and want to do something exciting for new years. I want warm weather...warm water....and a good place to party. I'm 26, single, and looking to spend about a week forgetting about the last 16 months.....and partying. Any suggestions? Money really isn't an issue. Thanks so much. I appreciate it.

My opinion approximately hollow years differs from the previous individual. i think of you're spectacular in taking it before uni notably while you're no longer advantageous what you extremely need to do. Too many human beings flow at cutting-edge by using to uni and finally end up no longer pursuing a profession interior the sphere that they had studied. so far as the place to spend your 365 days, you're able to do some island hopping! that's what i could do if I had a 365 days and slightly money. you're able to flow to Jamaica, Cuba, Aruba and Guadeloupe. That way you get a advantageous flavor of the Caribbean with the aid of interacting with the locals on an identical time as working and having relaxing. you're able to even do homestays once you're there - those are greater competitively priced than lodges and supply you a lots richer journey. stable luck including your determination.

can i humbly suggest Trinidad and or Tobago? Carnival is extremely early in February 2008, around the new year the carnival fetes will be in full swing, and of course T&T is warm all year thru. Its warm weather, great beaches, mouth watering food and an excellent place to party. along with friendly people, plenty culture and fun!..what more can you ask for!

Last year I spent New Years at Foxy's in White Bay in the British Virgin Islands. It was the best party I had ever been to. The people and drinks are awesome. You can just crash and sleep on the beach, no hotel room no drunk driving....enjoy and relax have fun

Go to Hedonism III in Runaway Bay Jamaica. They throw an awesome New Years Eve party. After mid-night go to the nude hot tub for the real celebration.

Anyone that said Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke hit the nail on the head. According to quite a few international sources it is one of the 5 best places in the world to spend New Years Eve!

I spent this last New Year's in Jamaica in the Treasure Beach/Black River area. Best time of my life. Mostly locals - not a lot of tourists. Would LOVE to go back again this coming New Year's!

Thank you for your service in the military - I'm so glad you are returning safely!

St Maarten/St Martin. Fun bars, casinos, clothing optional beaches, great food. Inexpensive booze and great shopping if that's your thing. Friendly islanders and a great place to just relax and enjoy. Great place to party. Rent a car and explore both sides of the island. St Martin is the french side and St Maarten is the dutch side.

Foxys on Jost Van Dyke in the BVI is truly over the top...you can get a hotel on St Thomas, USVI ( Bolongo Bay is good) and catch any number of ferries over there, pass out on the beach...

and thanks for your service!
