Yes, of course. It means that the God of Abraham speaks to Our Glorious Christian Leader, demanding human sacrifices in order to pacify people on the other side of the world who offer each other up as human sacrifices to that same God of Abraham, though using slightly different rituals.
Even as all these worshipers condemn human sacrifice with their lips. Go figure.

Hello,
It could mean blind dumb folllowers or on the other hand a precious commodity to be cherished and well looked after. Sheep were an important life line in life in first century Palestine and one's fortune and wealth were partially measure by them in that society so they were looked after well.
Cheers,
Michael

During the Old Testament days, the ultimate animal sacrifice given to the Lord was a lamb. Jesus became that perfect lamb in order to wipe out all sins once and for all.
We (or at least Christians) are the sheep that Jesus shepherds - He guides our paths and leads us to God.

Yes. He sacrificed His Son (The Lamb of God), so we would no longer have to physically sacrifice a lamb. We are His sheep, which means we must sacrifice ourselves (our time, wants, needs, money) to help others.

The Jesus freaks who believe that garbage are like sheep being led around by their noses.

Hmmmm. Good question! Except that God mostly commands his followers to kill OTHER people, not their own kind.

Yep.
Humans are so full of themselves that they simultaneously believe that humans are god's favourite things to kill AND to keep alive.
