It makes the purpose of this life (which is a test) useless.

Satans greatest goal is to make mankind break the laws of God.

What better deception than to make people think they dont need to follow them anymore !!

We will enter paradise by the Mercy of God and not by our deeds, misdeeds or our sacrifices or the sacrifices of anyone else.

To answer your question, YES.

I assume you are referring to xtianity.
Xtianity hardly counts as an Abrahamic religion.
On one hand, they will say they ARE one of the Abrahamic religions, but the statement that what they call the O.T is 'no longer valid' would seperate them from an Abrahamic foundation.
Somehow, after 2,000 years, it seems they can't get their stories straight...

Is the concept of having someone else die for our sins totally foreign to the Abrahamic message?

Yes, completely.

In the original Abrahamic message, "satan" (haShaytan in Hebrew) does not have free will because he is just an angel, and therefore cannot have goals outside of what G-d wants. haShaytan's purpose is to serve as the prosecuting attorney when you stand after death for judgement...nothing more. The thing that is responsible for your wrongdoings in life is yourself, a thing called your yetzer ra....meaning bad impulse.

I disagree. A sin sacrifice is on the very center of the Abrahamic faiths. Jesus replaced into that sacrifice. existence isn't a "try," for if it have been a try, that should propose that Almighty God is uncertain of the those that He Himself has created. devil would not ought to make people sin; all of us sin of course. devil's objective is to seize people of their sin by skill of making them reject God's forgiveness and salvation, that's in Christ's blood. He (devil) usually does this by skill of convincing us that we are able to do some thing to maintain ourselves, which denies the atoning sacrifice of Jesus and makes God's plan of salvation meaningless. We ought to nevertheless obey and serve God as ultimate we are able to, of direction, yet no person is applicable. And as quickly as we stumble, Jesus is our redeemer. He has already paid the poor penalty that we deserve. there is not any longer something--actually no longer something--that we sinful people can do to earn forgiveness; it somewhat is why we want Him. would our merciful Lord open your eyes to His actuality.

To answer your question.....no

That is what the bull, ram & turtledove represented in the Mosaic Law system......the atonement

But Christ became our eternal atonement....by His blood & resurrection.....so that you and I don't have to worry about failing in one area of the law (all 613 of them)

We could never keep the whole Law....this is why Christ had to come in the first place

Is the concept of having someone else die for our sins totally foreign to the Abrahamic message ?

Hardly.

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named." 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

Romans 4:1 What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness."

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; 23 and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness"--and he was called a friend of God.

"Satans greatest goal is to make mankind break the laws of God."

No, Satan's greatest goal is to deceive people and to get them to disbelive God and to follow false teachings that lead them down the road to Hell.

Genesis 3:4 But the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

John 8:42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.

"We will enter paradise by the Mercy of God and not by our deeds, misdeeds or our sacrifices or the sacrifices of anyone else."

God's mercy keeps us out of Hell. His grace and the gift of faith get us into Heaven. We keep His commands because we are new creations in Christ and because we want to live a life that pleases our Heavenly Father, not because they earn us our salvation.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
