You could use over the counter whitening products but you will get a better, faster result if you go to your dentist and have them make you whitening trays to use. They will give you the solution and you take it home and do it. I did this a few years ago and I got great results. You will be very happy with the outcome. Every tooth whitening product will make your teeth sensitive to cold while you are using it so you should use some toothpaste for sensitive teeth for about 2 weeks before you use the product and continue to use it while you are using it and this will help your teeth to not be as sensitive.

Over the counter whitening products damage the tooth enamel, so avoid those. If you absolutely need to have your teeth whitened and you have the money, going to your dentist is the best bet. but there is a mixture I use that makes my teeth sparkling white: Mix Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide into a small bowl and brush with it BEFORE you use normal toothpaste.

That is the mixture that Oprah Winfrey uses on her teeth which is why they're so perfect :D

I also LOVE Crest's Whitening Expressions toothpaste, they help very much.

Best of Luck (:

Hi mini! I suppose yu'r a girl from the (nick)Name
first of all let me tel u that Yellow teeth are stronger than white teeth (apparantly). ...
To make them appear whiter, avoid coral or brown-based lipsticks,
as the warm colours will emphasise the yellow ones in your teeth.
Clear pink or red shades will make them look much whiter in comparison.

Home remedies for teeth whitening:-
1)Make a paste out of 1 tsp of lemon juice and 1 tsp salt. Lemon causes the teeth to lose calcium - one of the major reason for yellowish color Apply the paste on yellowish portion of the teeth for a great white sparkle.
2)Eat foods like carrots, celery, cucumber, broccoli, apples and strawberries in raw form.
3)Make a paste out of powdered bay leaves and dried orange peel. Rub it on teeth for quick results.

Put toothpaste on your brush and then press it into baking soda and brush. The baking soda is a mild abrasive and will clean your teeth beautifully.

The swish with HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. It is a safe oral bleaching, healing liquid that you can mouth wash with. If you do this for your life, it will improve the look of your teeth and keep a very healthy mouth.

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE heals mouth sores or tenderness .

I have done this for 40 years and it does a great job.

If you go to a dentist he will bleach it for you. Every time you bleach some of your enamel is damaged. Repeated bleaching will cause erosion of enamel and lead to sensitivity of teeth.
