simply read the Bible, pray and spend a lot of time talking to Jesus, he does talk back. Sometimes through the Bible, sometimes through other people and sometimes you will hear him in your spirit. It's important to join a church, Jesus came to establish the church for us to have other christians to learn from, be careful to find a church that is bible-based (not manic and judgmental though!) I can recommend New Frontiers churches. Stay teachable.

To sustain life, we need food, clothing and shelter. All this provision is for the body. Likewise, the soul also needs food, clothing and shelter.
Food in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Clothing in the garment of Grace (laundered thru the Sacrament of Penance)
Shelter in the Universal Church instituted by Jesus Christ Himself.

Only the Roman Catholics have these wonderful sacraments / spiritual food in its entirety. Unfortunately, not everyone realize these GREAT MYSTERIES so "spiritual growth" varies from person to person.

However, if you want to really know Jesus Christ, tune in to EWTN: Fr. John Corapi and / or Fr. William Casey. Get back to us if you are sure about what you want to do.

May the good Lord help you.

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded form the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’

- Col. Robert G. Ingersoll

God is not the author of confusion (I Cor. 14:33)

Firstly, start believing in a book that is full of contradiciotns.

Secondly, coose the bits you want to believe and ignore those that don;t suit (Bible says slavery is OK, and you can be stoned for blaspheming)

Thirdly, deny all logic and science, but change yuor mind when it suits (Galileo was imprisoned by the Church for suggesting that the earth rotates arund the sun)

Fourth, have no issue with millions dying around the world becuase of AIDS and over-population becuase the church bans contraception and preaches thier beliefs to the most vunerable

Fifth, join a religion that has killed hundreds thousands over the years during the witch-hunts, inquisitions and crusades

Christians do not worship Jesus. They worship Jesus' Father, Jehovah, the only true God. John 17:3

The best advice I can give you is to put your total faith in Him. Confess to Jesus that you want him to be in your heart, that you accept him as your savior and you put your life in His loving hands. Pray to him often and ask him to help you, to guide you through your journey to know him. He will walk right beside you and guide you. You will feel it and you will see the signs. Even though you may not see the answers right away, He is there. And sometimes, you may not get answers at all, but He will guide you to your own answers and choices that you need to make...May Jesus be with you always..never lose faith. You will see the differences and how much better your life will be.

Why should you worship anyone but yourself? Do you not have an opinion or say in what happens in your life? Is it really necessary to seek approval for every move you make? If so, you'll never truly experience life. And life is there to be experienced. Make mistakes...learn from them. If people like you have to be told what to do then surely it is no longer your life.

I think we're all the same wanting to worship Jesus, so I can suggest to read the Bible very often. That's the best action we/you should do. Good luck!

Listen to the excellent teachings of Pastor Paul Sheppard. He is always encouraging and edifying so that you go away with new insights into how to live your life in Christ and to top it off he has a great sense of humor too.

Hi Janeta,
You have chosen the right way! This is the end of the day. Surely Christ comes to judge on those who have abused his name. They will suffer from the consequence. However, we Christan's do have the responsibility to pray for them to open their eyes, ears and all of their sens organs.

Bless you!
