Well, actually it was full Conversion, not just Baptism, but it's basically the same thing.

It's true, but even though they converted they were still considered as a lower class in their society...

We don't force anyone to do anything now. True believers wouldn't do that......the offer of salvation is free of charge. You either take it and believe it......or you don't.
