"Los, jagen wir die bewährten Bärte."
"Bin dir am Morgen drei Runden um den Bart gegangen abgerutscht"
"Aus uberbahn Fahrplaneinzelpunkten, Aus Oben ohne Ohneboden"

I might have misheard 'uberbahn' but I am absolutely certain of the rest of those phrases in German.
P.S. I have a good level of German so don't just put it into Babelfish and give me some gobbledegook plz!

Modern Major General, I have spent hours translating these songs and word-for-word translation doesn't work in this case. Babelfish gives you nonsense answers! Don't insult my intelligence by telling me how to use it!

These are phrases from song lyrics of the band Wir Sind Helden

Hey I thought the line about the beards meant 'the approved beards', like it meant 'whoever the government tells you are terrorists'. That line is from a song about mass hysteria.

"Come on, let's hunt the established beards."
"Went 3 rounds around your beard this morning, slipped."

"Täglich rede ich mir mein Leben aus U-Bahn Fahrplaneinzelpunkten,
aus Oben ohne ohneboden"
"Everyday I talk my life out of Underground train schedule single-spots
of topless bottomless"
That's basically what it says but the meaning is rather puzzled. Sounds like living after schedules, not being happy about it...

Ok, I found out that it's not uberbahn but U-Bahn (Underground train)....
Don't know what they're trying to say though, maybe the complete lyrics would give hints. At least I find it easier to understand the lyrics of Wir sind Helden when they are complete.
Well, I looked for the last lyrics http://lyricwiki.org/Wir_Sind_Helden:Stiller , it seems to be rather poetic partly wordplay, really hard to translate...

Morelen has already given a good translation, Wir sind Helden lyrics are sometimes more or less intranslatable (untranslateable) so just an addition

"jemendem um den Bart gehen" means talking very nicely (sweet) to someone - especially if you want something from him, paying little compliments and so on.

quaz Translation is correct, but in Germany nobody would express this like that. Die Antwort auf das Leben ist das Leben selbst. The answer to live is to live it. Die meisten Dinge erledigen sich vom allein, Most of the problems will settle on their own. Die Erkenntnis erwächst aus der (Lebens)erfahrung. Awareness trives by (experiene) of live. Do you know the person who quote or the context?

Sorry ---- very Sorry.
They do not make any sense !!!

Except the first one:
"Yeah, let's hunt those old fellows !"
— free & metaphorical —

The rest sounds like "Dada" to me.

Bettina.
