I drink mostly vanilla soy milk, water and orange juice. I do have coffee (half decaf/half regular) on occasion (maybe too much) and a soda once or twice a week. Occasionally, I'll mix in a bit of lemonade with my water, though. Soda is pure junk, but I have found that diet lemon lime drinks and ginger ale help with heartburn, so I'll take one if it seems excessively bad or I want to feel better while I'm out. (I've little problem with suffering from heartburn if I'm in the comfort of my own home.)
Being pregnant, I have cut my coffee consumption down to a few times a week and started mixing the half and half (I used to have full leaded coffee every morning, and occasionaly in the afternoon, too) and went from having a soda or two a day to one or two a week.

If by diet drinks you mean diet sodas, you need to get those out of your diet first. Diet sodas are just as bad for you and they certainly don't help you lose weight at all.
The best thing you can drink is water. You need to drink the doctor recommended eight cups a day, every day. Anything else you drink should be in moderation i.e. coffee, Gatorade.

I'm 30.. 5'6.. and 330 lbs (and shrinking)... you really need to seek help now for you eating disorder and your Morbid Body Imaging. I think the real issue is that you see yourself differently than what the mirror is reflecting. Trust me this is a never ending battle and at your age it would be best to find out how you can beat the real monsters first, then the weight loss won't misguide your efforts to heal yourself. Eating disorders are never a healthy option, some people over eat and gain weight, others starve and gain weight along with brittle bones and organ failure. Think more about What you are doing to you whole body not just what you are doing to you waist line.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website

Decaf herbal tea is okay, Decaf green tea is real good, but don't over do it because tea is a diuretic.
Oh and with all that water you drink don't forget to keep up your electrolytes.
What are electrolytes:
