Scrub to clean or scrub to remove? First one yup, ever day when I get home I use a nailbrush & soap. Second one no, I'm barefoot all the time so I have a thick layer of leathery skin/calluses, but I don't ever use a peeling scrub or whatever. There's no roughness -probably because I walk on pavement so often it wears down naturally- and I don't want to wear it down more, it's good to have a thick, strong sole when barefooting.

dude, i do and i hate it! i'm on my feet a lot at work and i have to wear heels and stuff so my feet are totally murdered by the end of the day. i usually use a pumice stone on my feet but it broke in half yesterday so my feet shall remain crusty until i get a new one. some aestheticians use something called a swiss board that you can use to scrub your heels and it works really well. they have them at sally beauty and what not. one thing you can try on your feet is at night or while you're just around the house, slather your feet in lotion and put some socks on and wear them for awhile.

I go barefoot all the time, I just use lotion to help keep my feet soft, the calluses grow back, so I don't try to remove them, only smooth them

I do!!! I have a strong brush AND an emery board in the shower because the dirt is so imbedded, but I hate wearing shoes at home. I don't like to use lotion because it comes off on the carpet, etc.

Maybe I should, but I don't...
My Mom gets kind of mad at me, because often times I go to bed with grimy feet...
But she used to pull the same stunts when she was a kid growing up in the boondocks, so hey...
The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?
