Always keep the lines of communication open. Express feelings such as things you like and don't like. Respect each others likes and dislikes. Be honest and trust each other. Allow time away from each other, such as hanging with friends, because you don't want to get burned out with each other. Don't call, text, IM, two way, or email twenty time a day for that may cause burn out also. Be supportive of each other and listen to what each other has to say. NO yelling, NO name calling, NO blaming, NO accusing or NO fighting. Talk out any problems in a calm manner. If you get angry, take a time out to calm down before saying something you will regret later. Good Luck.

Avoid jealousy. It kills relationships. Try to take an interest in some of things that he enjoys doing, and he should do the same for you. Don't move too quickly. Take your time. always be sensitive to each others feelings. Plenty of communication is important. If you have a problem or something on your mind, talk to your partner. Don't hold it in because you will subconsciously be angry about it and take it out on your partner. Discuss everything about what you want for your future--ambitions, careers, lifestyle, children, etc... Always watch for red flags. When things change, there is a reason for it. Do not ignore the signs.

Good Luck!!!
