Bananas bad as opposed to what? Going to the vending machine and buying a candy bar or a bag of potato chips?
Bananas are a great food, as already been mentioned. I like bananas because they're very easily portable and highly nutritious. A banana and a good granola bar (one without corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, hydrogenated oils, and other junk) make for an acceptable (but not great) portable meal. (I do not buy Quaker granola bars. They have the aforementioned ingredients and are expensive. I either buy Kashi or the Trader Joe's store brand which are also all natural and only $2 a box.)
However, I won't touch milk unless I was pregnant and literally starving or my child was literally starving.

First off, skipping a meal is often fattening in itself, because you will eat more than you will normally do at dinner time.
For the banana, all the nutrition elements you can find in it are at this address: http://www.nutritionanalyser.com/food_composition/?fid=09040
Bananas contain vitamin A, Thiamine, Niacin, Riboflavin, vitamin B6, Potassium, iron, zinc, vitamin C, calcium and magnesium... very healthy. Fattening? sure, more than an apple would be.
For everything on the banana.... http://www.banana.com/nutrition.html

bananas are nutritionally good. they contain many vitimins and such and are mostly made up of carbohydrates. thats is good idea for a VERY light lunch/snack but it contains little protein. a good easy no-fuss lunch could be a small banana, skim milk and a ham sandwich hold the marg/butter on wholemeal bread. nutritionally good for you, pack it in the morning, wont go off and healthy.
also those cup of soups with a slice or two of wholemeal bread and fruit...another option.
when packing a healthy nutritional lunch try to cover 3-4 basis, main ones being Fruit, Carb and Protien, with the possibility of a Dairy as well.

No.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

What are you talking about?! Bananas are highly nutritious for your body! Geez... stop caring so much about fat content. It's not as if you're scarfing down an entire casserole dish of baked macaroni and cheese. You're talking about a piece of fruit here.

They *are* very fattening, as far as fruits go, but provide potassium, which is necessary in your diet. I would recommend having a couple of them a week.
