I play table games and my Wife plays slots. Can somebody direct me to a casino. It doesn't have to be on The Strip. I've heard the locals Casinos are better. I like to play Double Bonus Video Poker. 25 cent and $1.00. Are certain brands of Video Poker better? And what slot machine games are hot, meaning good pay offs. I hate those penny and nickel machines that can be as much as $2.50 a pull and pay like crap. But they sure are fun!! Might as well play video games for free!

I prefer the casinos downtown. They seem to have better odds and the service is definitely better.

The brand on video poker does not affect the odds. The odds on drawing one to a royal flush, for instance, are always the same (by law) regardless of the machine. A machine's payout % is determined by the pay table. Look for a machine with higher payouts for flushes and straights. I use the "9 & 6" rule. If a pay table indicates a payout of 9 coins for a flush and 6 for a straight, that's usually a good indicator that the machine pays off better overall. Look around... the same casino often has differenty payouts on the same floor, sometimes right next to each other.

I also love video poker and my favorite game is double double bonus poker. Around 2 months ago I hit my first royal at the Showboat in Atlantic City. In Vegas any of the casinos will have this popular game. As far as the slots are concerned try the $5. slots like Red, White & Blue or Double Diamond they are expensive usually $10. or $15. a spin but when you hit you win big. Even mixed 7's on a red, white & blue will get you usually over $700. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

The off strip casinos, like Sam's Town and Boulder Station have better odds for winning. Most local casinos do pay better. Try Deuces Wild or Jokers Wild video poker....Double Double Bonus pays better if you catch a royal! Also try Super Aces video poker. As for "hot slots" there is always Megabucks......$3 a spin..........Lottsa luck!
