You could have originally hurt your back dancing - like any other sport. Then it can become a chronic problem. Start stretching and exercising regularly, get a massage and maybe see a Chiropractor if it doesn't go away.

Maybe ur overstressing ur body and if thats the case you should rest for about 2 weeks to get rid of everything and it might be you stand up too much and that could cause ur lower back to hurt and it also could be your bed's mattress it could be old or the springs could be broken so you should have that checked out it could be a list of things and if u rest and the problem still persists you should try getting a check up cuz usually things like that are a sign of something worse
I hope you get well soon :)

The clicking won't be a disc popping out, and it can't be 'popped' back in anyway, prolapsed discs don't behave like that. I'm sure you won't be shrinking so much, any reduction in height over a day is slight and gradual. . Go to your G.P. for reassurance. Don't have any chiropractic or osteopathic treatment as you have no pain.

It could be one of two things- either the bed you are laying in has no support or you are laying funny and putting a strain on your back

Could be related to arthritis but the only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated by your doctor to see what they think is causing the problem.

try sleeping with a pillow between your knees. Sounds strange but don't knock it till you've tried it. It works

your mattress is probably crap, i used to have this every morning then i spent £250 on a decent orthopaedic mattress which is pretty firm and i wake up fresh as a daisy!!!

have a look at getting a new mattress, if its too soft it puts extra pressure on your lower spine.
