hi - as someone else has said - figure out WHY you're anxious. Cognitive behaviourial therapy is probably the best route to go - ask for a referral. Drugs can help (legal, only) but they just postpone the inevitable - facing what is causing the anxiety. sort that before anxiety behaviourial patterns becomes a deep-seated psychotic depression. (Thinking here of OCD, etc).

Whilst waiting for a referral. try yoga and/or meditation. Hypnosis may also help. Best of luck.

I was going to state Marijuana. The best thing for anxiety is prayer and to locate someone that you can talk to. If you can't afford a "shrink" find an intelligent complete stranger to speak your mind. There are millions of people just like you that only need to have some one polite and intellent to say "your o.k., me too".

Try Kava Kava root. It is a natural and potent herbal remedy for anxiety and pain and it works really well. I used to have severe headaches from anxiety and stress and I would drink a mixture of Kava root and water and it would make my headaches go away and relax me.
