My mom told me it was waterproof...but i dont think it was becasue when we took it to the beach today and got it wet, it still took pictures but the flash didnt work and water was dripping out of it. I really hope they come out because the pictures will be hilarious.

Underwater disposables usually don't have a flash, so I'm guessing that yours was not a waterproof camera. If the camera got soaked, then the film is wet as well. No lab will run wet film, because the emulsion will flake off in the processor and make a mess, causing the lab to dump and remix chemistry, an expensive and time consuming procedure. Be sure to mention when you take it in for processing that it may be wet inside.

if the camera is waterproof and even if you did drop it in the water the pictures will be fine. the flash probably doesn't work because of the water or lighting may have been good enough not to need flash. if you take it to a local 24 hour processing place most places do not charge for pictures that do not develop, but you could always ask them first and see. i wouldn't mail the pics off though because they may charge you anyway. good luck and God bless

As long as the film isn't exposed to light something will come out.

Waterproof disposables are usually enclosed in a hard plastic case and has the words "Waterproof" somewhere on the camera!

Did it get dropped in the water? if it did the pictures won't come out at all, if water just got splashed on it then the pictures will be just fine.

try to shake it off a bit. I was out in the sun one day and decided to open the film door to "see" if I had any film left. ahahah they didn't charge me for them at walgreens.

you can still send it for developing... of cse there is no guarantee for good pics, you only pay for those that comes out and dont for those that dont... no harm trying.
