No. I pick a religious book off of the shelf and start to preach that religion to them.

I do entertain myself, though.

Please allow me to set some things straight about the Mormon missionaries. It has long been practiced that the missionaries will not enter a home when there is only a female present. If her husband or another family adult male member is present they may enter. Otherwise, they must wait for an elder from the local ward to accompany them to the woman's house.

Further, the missionaries are not to debate doctrine or bash anyone's belief system. They are not to argue biblical interpretations with contentious homeowners, but are required to present the lessons they are prepared to give, focusing on faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, Joseph Smith and his contributions in bringing forth the Book of Mormon, and baptism.

This is why, when a homeowner decides to argue scriptures, the missionaries either change the subject or leave. We are not to be contentious in any manner, but are to present the lessons if allowed. When the spirit of contention is present, the Spirit of the Lord will leave.

These stories of seducing the young missionaries are simply myths, another perpetuation of distortions made against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How do I know these things? Because I frequently accompany the local missionaries on their appointments--particularly if they must meet with single women in a household. I remind you: another elder from the Church must be with the missionaries if they are to present their lessons to single females in a home.

I once polished my .357 magnum while being accosted at home by some Jehovah's Witnesses.

I actually knew a Mormon couple who attended a church in the next county, so the local church didn't know that they were Mormon. The local church would send their missionaries to the couples' home, and the couple would screw with the poor kids mercilessly! A very un-Mormon thing to do, but funnier than a burning sack of poop!

I've actually never had a Mormon knock on my door. But if one did, I might ask him if he wanted a glass of ice water. I don't think I'd entertain him though... I'm set on atheism, and while I am interested in religion, I've already thoroughly researched Mormonism.

If I had time to kill and I trusted that he wasn't violent, I may invite him in for a chat, and ask a ton of questions to get to the root logic (or lack thereof). I'd do that not to be mean but to get him/her to think.

I usually tell them that I'm gay, because Mormonism traditionally isn't tolerant of homosexuality, and this gets them to leave. While I'm actually straight, I really hate it when people talk to me about religion.

A girlfriend of mine told me that her older sister would entice the missionaries to come inside, and then she'd try to seduce them. She was pretty slutty, which actually made me want to convert to Mormonism and be a missionary in her area.

I once told a lady I read the Koran throughly every day, and I pray to Allah 5 times a day. She seriously booked it, I've never seen an over weight fat black lady run so fast in heels.

Yes, I put on an amazing circus show for them. And they clap and dance and throw money at me. Then they leave, and totally forgot what they came to preach about and go to my next door neighbors house.

We once told a couple of Mormon boys that we were Jewish... they never came back. I wonder why that is.
