Okay, im very skinny, and i want to reach like 115-120 pounds. I want to get fatter, (in the right places, like arm size, etc.) and stronger. I want to build muscle but im not sure if im doing it correctly =/

I can do 40 push-ups, 30 sit-ups, wieght lift with 5 lb 100x+ (i dont think thats alot.. and it wasnt tiring or anything, but those are the heaviest wieghts i have currently, and i got lazy after doing 100 =/) and i can run a mile in about 6:30-7:30. I want to build my arm strength, gain muscle, get at least a 4-pack by sept. is it possible for now?

Also, How should i train? like should i start adding 2lb with my situps? And how many push-ups/sit-ups until i know that im strong enough.. pls help.

PS. Im trying to impress a girl, and surprise all my frenz on my growth when i get back to school (dont laugh at me...)

Also, I do the push-ups/sit-ups at night time (11/12 pm - 1/2 am) becuz in the morning i have to study, and stuff.. so i havev no time to do them earlier..

It sounds like you need to eat more protein. You should look into protein drinks made with whey and follow the directions, or eat chicken breast at night and perhaps eggs with breakfast. That will support quality muscle growth. You also want to do exercises where you have to stop after about 8-12 reps in order to build muscle, and take off two days between exercising those muscle groups to give them time to rest and grow. So, try one-handed pushups (like in the movie Rocky), buy heavier weights, and do crunches for your abs instead of sit-ups (try the video "Abs of Steel"). Look for a magazine for advice, like Men's Fitness, which has articles on exercise and nutrition: they probably have it at your library.

you need lotsa protein. eat more eggs in the morning and eat more lean meat. use heavier weights when you work out. it'll help build muscles. oh, and drink milk too.

Edit: Oh u are a boy? If that's the case, you shudn't worry too much. You might not even hit puberty yet. once you hit puberty, man you'll shoot up pretty fast.

Have you tried using weight gaining powders and things....diet can play a huge part in helping you gain weight also. Don't eat junk food but eat lots of healthy nutritious food like pasta and other carbohydrates to help give you energy but also protein to help build your muscle and it will also help you recover after your workouts.

i think of you're able to opt for some expert help, and that i do no longer mean that for the time of a median way. At 5'4" you will desire to be like125 and not be obese! If human beings think of you look unhealthily skinny and you think of you look fat, there's a different psychological situation right here that desires to be addressed.
