I was walking in the supermarket in my city and saw a warning sign near the meat department stating new research that showed that even at the highest temperatures, some bacteria in pork still is not eliminated. Then I did further research and my faith became much stronger than it already was. What is your take on this? Is it something new to you?

Consumption of freshly killed pork products causes acute responses, such as inflammations of the appendix and gall bladder, biliary colics, acute intestinal catarrh, gastroenteritis with typhoid and paratyphoid symptoms, as well as acute eczema, carbuncles, sudoriparous abscesses, and others. These symptoms can be observed after consuming sausage meats (including salami which contains pieces of bacon in the form of fat).

The consumption of pork is particularly dangerous in the tropical regions. This, for example, is shown in parts of Africa where both the Islamic and Western civilizations live in neighboring territories under the same climatic conditions. The same conditions apply to various races in the Himalayas where the Hunsa (Bircher) live. The Islamic population does not consume pork and is healthy, working to a considerable age as porters for numerous expeditions.

Same reason Jews do.

G-d told us not to.

The fact that it's dirty comes in later to try to justify being told not to, I think.

Judging via your use of quotations around "unclean" etc., you all seem incredibly indignant via the reality that pigs are not the cleanest of animals. it is not approximately their habitat, otherwise we would not be ingesting cows the two. seem on the technology in the back of it; be extra cautioned and dig up the rational, logical element of issues. No-one suggested the standard well being reward of beef--there are incredibly plenty none. beef is merely fat and high blood pressure development sh*t. Pigs do no longer sweat and haven't any lymphatic equipment, for this reason they do no longer expel pollutants interior a similar way different animals do. it is not a difficulty for the pig considering the fact that they are genetically predisposed, yet as quickly as we consume beef, we are at as quickly as taking in those pollutants so even ingesting organic and organic beef won't make a distinction interior the toxicity point because of the fact their anatomy hasn't replaced. in spite of how badly you opt to consume beef, NO well being/well being professional will agree that beef interior the meals recurring is wonderful, because of the fact until you're pleased with high blood pressure and kilos of grotesque and risky fat on your physique and decide to be extra companies to strokes, it is not.

Back before refrigerators, it was especially dangerous to eat pork because it is so similar to human flesh (we can grow human body parts on genetically altered pigs, because they are quite similar to us, or so I've heard). Because it is similar to human flesh, pork can harbor pathogens that humans are susceptible to catching.

I believe that the Lord no longer forbids the eating of pork, but my family knows that it is still not a good health choice.

Pork also contains many toxins in the actual meat. Pork is very high in amines... natural substances found in all meat that is not quite fresh... the less fresh it is, the more amines it has. In susceptible humans, amines generally cause mental responses such as anger, irritability, quick temper, etc.

Think about how necessary this law of God must have been to ancient warring tribesmen. After eating a hearty meal of pork the men (or women) might have felt so aggressive that they couldn't resist going out and killing someone.

I know I usually feel depressed, angry and sometimes violent the day after I've eaten a hearty pork roast. Pork is not a good meat for good spiritual health.

To be fair, though... it is only sensitive people that react to amines... not everybody.

Whatever is forbidden in Islam, it is forbidden for a reason. Mainly things that are forbidden are bad for you. Pork is not healthy. Pigs eat anything they see, even their own $hit, which no other animal does. Also, pigs do not have necks, as Muslims we always slaughter animals from the neck which allows all the blood to come out of the body within seconds, you cannot do that with pigs. Pigs are the only animals where they do not become jealous of other males mating with their females. Also, the bacteria which was explained clearly in the question. If you think this information is not enough, suit yourself.

hmm, all meat is potentially harmful. but i think the real reason for the prohibition against pork at the time of the writing of the jewish and muslim holy books was a little thing called trichinosis. it is a disease that is caused by a worm that was often found in pork at that time. the worm was easily passed from one pig to another because the pigs would eat other pigs. like most of the laws and commandments created at the time it was simply an issue of survival.
pork today is safe to eat because their feed is no longer made from the parts of other animals. trichinosis has virtually disappeared in this part of the world.

It makes sense. Pigs will eat anything. Including other small animals that be so ignorant as to stray in their paths as they are feasting. Be it a turtle or a infested rat. The fat of a pig can clog the arteries of humans. It is against God's will that humans eat Pork meat.

"And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase."

The G-d of Israel told the Jewish people not to eat pork thousands of years ago.

That was good wisdom they gave to the rest of us through the Bible.

However, a lot of people in today's societies think they are smarter than G-d and ignore what He said.

The more science we learn, the more we see that He had good reasons for giving the boundaries He gave.

I'm a vegetarian. I don't understand why people are willing to build their lives off of the consumption of any animal's life and pain, particularly when you consider the conditions and inefficient use of energy involved.
