you may not realize it but sometimes you can fall asleep with your hand under your head or your stomach or somewhere on your body and the weight restricts the blood flow to your hand and it goes numb. i have the same problem because i sleep with my hands under my head. try falling asleep in a different position or put a pillow between your hand and the rest of your body. like now i sleep with a fluffy pillow between my hands and my head.
it helps...
good luck

This is more common than you may think. It is possible that you have pressure palsy, a temporary impairment of the function of the peripheral nerves. This is very common and is the result of pressure on a nerve. You can be lying on your back, arms comfortably beside you, but the ulnar nerve in the elbow responds to resting on the mattress by making your hand numb.

It could also be carpal tunnel syndrome. This does not mean you have carpal tunnel! It simply means that you slept with your hands or wrist flexed putting pressure on the median nerve.

This is nothing to worry about but if it really bothers you, please see your doctor.

Try exercising with both of your arm. Like do some push-up.
