Because even if you succeed in preserving your own integrity, the sons and daughters of the religious and non-religious will have to go through the exact same arguement in the future... just like how it ALWAYS has been. So instead of arguing what EVERYONE CAN NOT AGREE on... why dont we just focus more on the things that we can actually AGREE TOGETHER?
like... everyone wants to be purely happy... everyone wants peace... everyone wants to be loved. AGREE?

Your basic question seems to be, "Why can't we focus on what we agree on, rather than fighting the details?"---right??? THAT is, in my mind, why most people even look at this category on Yahoo Answers--we all want to be RIGHT.We all believe what we chose to believe, and sadly, condemn others because they do not agree with us. Human history is full of strife and bloodshed due to this type of disagreement. Unfortunately, we cannot seem to accept each other's beliefs for the greater good.
I find it ironic that one of Jesus' messages was to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", very similar to what I understand to be the basic Wiccan tenant, "Do as you will, as long as you harm no one." There's a message hidden there somewhere...hopefully; we can figure it out someday and stop sweating the details.

There will come a time in everybody's life, when they die, when they will find out the truth and us Christians will all be saying "we told you so" . We already know the truth during our lifetime cause our hearts know what it is. You non-believers only listen with your head and you demand facts and proof. God comes to those who have sincere hearts and who ask nicely he does not come to those who demand, and why should he, you don't want to give him the time of day, he's not going to give you what you want. Eventually the Christians WILL be the winners. But it's your choice, we Christians choose to believe NOW rather than later.
Oh and I've had personal proof like you wouldn't believe.

What if the truth is that everyone wants to be King of the Universe themselves and to have everyone else conform to their wishes?
What if the truth is that unless people get a really good look at themselves, they will lie to themselves persistently about what the truth is?
What if the truth is that people do not want to obey anyone else, even if that other Person is G-d?
What if the truth is that we really do need a sin-bearer?
