Alright, hateful atheist, you jacknut...

who's fault was it? All I'm asking. A man's (or woman"s) or God's? Simple Q you seem to be avoiding.

I saw the pictures on t.v. and from the looks of it, the support columns gave way. The basic design has been used for a long time now. I assume (makes an *** out of u and me) that a proper geologic survey was made, so that leaves the materials used in making the supports. Normally that is concrete. The supports are pre stressed and reinforced. If the material itself was at fault, and that would be my suspicion at this point in time, then it could collapse as it did. We shall see.

What have it got to do with God !

Be a Man and face the consequences.

Why are you sad? Did you build the bridge ?

Walk On, for there is much worst things that you will come across.

You have not been to a Hospital lately, have you?

By posting this question here do you think that you are doing something. Wake up, if this thing can make you feel frustrated then I think you need to go to a shrink.

I am not in any ones defense here ,but it could have been shoddy concrete,or an act of nature? the ground under neath could have shifted, but lets all wait until the real experts
have tabled their findings be fore we point the finger shall we.I am a disbeliever in Christ and i am not an Atheist, but
too be fair we have to wait for the relative authorities to do their homework OK.

Why would God make a bridge collapse?!? God does not punish us, He just removes His blessings if we don't do as He tells us to do...

On the other hand.. men mess up all the time!

I highly doubt the Gods had a hand in this, but I don't have enough information to make an educated opinion on the matter. I'll wait until I hear what the investigators reports say.

It's man's fault - god(s) don't exist. A sad mistake, perhaps - but let's not overlook the possibility of political/criminal corruption in the construction of the bridge - and, it must be said, often the most corrupt are churchgoers who use the gullibility of believers to put scams over.

These things happen (was there an earthquake?)

I would hate for the person who oversaw the bridge (if they are still alive) to be the burden of the guilt this kind of thing could trigger.

Old bridge+ high traffic= tragedy and sadness.
People who escaped their cars only to go back and help others= courage and hope.
The Red Cross is accepting donations for the victims if anyone is interested.

I've basically answered that question here.

Maybe you could reason with the praying people too.

Edit: Oh, I'm not a genius, but I answered anyway, kind of like when Christians ask only for other Christians to answer.

Edit: I don't you think you were referring to me when you made the accusation that your question is being avoided. If you were, you should know that I don't think God is to blame, because I don't believe in God. Also, if you'd read my response to cindy's question you'd see that I have written that I wonder what person is responsible, not what God.

By the way, what's a jacknut?

I'm not a genius but this what I know...
God always give the best for His child...
What makes us far from God and being punish is our crime..
And I think He let it happens because a good reason...
Think positive...
