It's symbolic, not literal. It may be about your creativity in other aspects of your life. Think about nurturing yourself and your creativity; your hopes and dreams can be born through your good choices and actions in your learning, work, and relationships.

Dreaming that you're pregnant can mean a lot of different things depending on the dream. I personally have had those dreams and I know I'm not at the time pregnant, nor do I want a child right now....read below and see if this dream interpretation fits.

To dream that you are pregnant, symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. This may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal.

To dream that you are pregnant with the baby dying inside of you suggests that a project you had put a lot of effort into is falling apart and slowly deteriorating. Nothing works out the way you want it to.

If you are really pregnant and having this dream, then it represents your anxieties about the pregnancy. Women in the first trimester of their pregnancy tend to dream of tiny creatures, fuzzy animals, flowers, fruit and water. In the second trimester, dreams will reflect your anxieties about being a good mother and concerns about possible complications with the birth.

According to Dreamcrowd:

If you are afraid of being pregnant, you may dream of it often. At times, women learn about their pregnancy in their dreams. Your mind knows about everything that is going on in your body even if you are not consciously aware of it. However, don't panic! You could also be pregnant with ideas! Old dream interpretation books say that a dream about pregnancy is a good omen for women, and an improvement in her intimate relationship is forthcoming. For a man, it is a warning against casual sex.

To see a baby carriage in your dream, symbolizes your desire for a family or longing for a baby. If the baby carriage is empty, then it indicates sadness or an unfulfilled goal. Alternatively, it suggests that you need to cater to the needs of your own inner child.

Our dreams are created out of our own imagination, and our experiences. So they represent to us what we are thinking about when we aren't withholding our feelings, like we do in the daytime.

Interestingly enough, my own pregnancy dreams were very vivid. I had 3 of them, over a period of 15 years. In them I dreamed I was almost ready to deliver, very big, and was sleeping on my stomach. That frightened me, I was afraid of killing the baby. In my waking life I analyzed the dreams over and over. During the period of time I was having the dreams I was married to someone who I could not believe would be a good father to children. After our divorce, I looked for men who would be good fathers, but never found one. I finally decided the meaning of the dream was that I was "strangling" (preventing) the opportunity to have a child. I never did have kids.

It's up to you how you interpret your dreams. Just keep asking yourself what the imagery could mean in your own life. It all comes from your own mind.

It means you need to be on birth control so you don't get pregnant.
