1 - fictional story, possibly based on the effects of the eruption of Thera, but no archeological or historical evidence to back up the exodus

2 - so he built a temple. what does that prove? hundreds of different religions have built temples.

3 - again, what about it? a mysterious closed box (which conveniently disappeared 2000 years ago). The ark almost certainly existed, but as to what (if anything) was inside it, no one can say.

4- cause you are really gullible

5- you're on to aliens now?

6 - the us gov is so evil and corrupt, I wouldnt be surprised if Bush was trying o call up spirits, but thats just mental illness

7 - it stands for Nero - do some reading on this, its so prosaic.

8- dawn of man, like in "2001"? Are you trying to tie aliens in again?

9 - Had a "near death" experience myself - was clinically dead for a couple minutes - no god or jesus or anything. I really dont know how physics is supposed to relate to anything, unless you're going back to your alien thing

1. No evidence of this occuring. Archeology holds no evidence of the Exodus, let alone Hebrew slaves in Egypt. These claims are only made by the jewish and christian faiths. A popular retort to the skeptic is that it is a mistranslation, and that Moses actually crossed a swamp (the reed sea) at low tide.
2. There is little, if any, evidence of the remains of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem today. The recent work of Kathleen Kenyon in Jerusalem has revealed a few structures in the northern part of the city which may be Solomonic but there is no certainty. If there are any remains left, they would be under the sacred enclosure of the Muslims known as the Dome of the Rock. Enclosed within this structure is a very large rock protruding out of the ground. This sanctuary is forbidden ground to the archaeologist.
3. Another myth. This mystic box has been rumored to exist for centuries, yet no one has actually seen it. Depending on the rumor you choose to believe, it is in England, Ethiopia, or Israel. If you can't produce the ark, you have no arguement for its existence.
4. The church in it's earliest days strove to be a political power, higher than even the monarchs of the day. They were successful, and it's only in this and the last century that people are becoming educated, and that power is waning.
5. The myths of another culture. Not evidence of your god.
6. Prove the claim. The NWO has been rumored for years without evidence. The masonic link may use certain symbology, but there is no hard and fast evidence that the Masons are anything more than a fraternity. The 'sign of the beast' (barcode, chip, whatever) is something that has changed over the centuries. Each generation has feared it, but nothing has ever come of it.
7. 666 was a numerological code referring to the Emperor Nero. It is not a literal thing.
8. Study abiogenesis. Man didn't spring from the ground by way of dust and magic breath. It was a long and arduous process. Find evidence outside of the bible of god's voice.
9. The subconscious mind at work. Psychics are hucksters. Some plant a person in the crowd to 'prove' their power, and others use a technique known as 'cold reading'...google it. If you're referring to prophecy, remember that there are 2 main branches...that which is so vague, it can be creatively interpreted to fit an event; and that which was written after the fact (also known as predicting the past).

There is no proof of where the "red sea" is nor do any experts even agree on where it exists. Further even serious biblical archaeologist admit that there is only tenious at best evidence of anything relating to the biblical account of the exodus.

King Solomon's temple existed but that is not proof that a divine being was invovled -- there are many other temples all over the world dedicated to many other gods.

The Ark of the covenant? Same as the temple or any other cultures religious artifact.

Many more people in the world believe differently than you do tha that do. Belief is not a valid argument for truth. Think about, it many people "believed" that the world was flat and that it was the center of the universe... need i say more?

"Annunaki" are a group of Sumerian and Akkadian deities and are not related to the christian mythos.

The government is not invovled with the occult, if you have actual, verifiable proof that it is you need to provide references.

666 is a number, strangely most of the world and world history has very little to do with it. The majority of world cultures don't have any evil or any other associated meaning with it.

The "dawn of man"???

"Life and death" are a part of all creatures (and all things if you generalized a large extent) existence. This does not indicate a supreme being. Phycics have a very, very, very poor track record, if you can find any that can be independantly verified, I'd be really interested, but alas there are none.

I can't prove to you it is fake anymore than you can prove to me that it is real. That is why they call it faith. Good for you for having it, bad for you for demanding that I put my beliefs on your faith.
& not all non-christians believe the bible is "fake". I've read it & even though I will never be a Christian, I still think it has some pretty cool ideas. But even if you believe it came from the mouth of a deity, it was still put to paper with ink from a pen that was held by a man's hand & therefore by definition is failable. The translation of a translation of a translation by itself would make me question its accuracy as languages often don't match up to eachother exactly.

No atheist is doubting the fact that some historical truths are found in the Bible - we're doubting the riddiculous claims made by Biblical authors, such as the creation story.

I think even one false story makes the Bible false. It would be pointless to include knowingly false information, and then say, "Oh, it's just a matter of interpretation."

Wow! That is a lot to ask in one question! I'm not atheist, but I can tell you that they will have a field day with this question. -- While I respect the Bible as an amazing book, I can also see many contradictions and holes in it . Why? Because it was written by mortal men and not by God---Is the Bible "fake"?--No, it is a book to inspire believers. The points you have numbered 1 thru 9 can all be argued at length by both beliefs---But what would be the point? We all will continue to believe what we are convinced is right---Blessings!

you're kidding right? You could say ANYTHING happened and then say , Ok if you can't prove it it must be true! Have you proved Harry Potter didn't go to Hogwarts and save the Wizarding world from Voldemort? No? It must be true then, right? Just because you make some claim and no one proves it wrong, doesn't mean it's right. You're the one that has to back your claim up with some sort of evidence

The Bible isn't fake. It fills space on a bookshelf just like any other book. Containing verifiable entities within a book does not make the book true. By that criterion, "The DaVinci Code" is true.

Are you serious?

A book with historical accuracy would be backed up by other books and historians of the time saying the same things. Is there any such thing for the bible?

o.k., as soon as someone can explain why the hypocritical, bigoted way of believing in an invisible friend, but when children think do, they need to seek mental help immediately, is completely overlooked And acceptable?
