If I am considering exploring a relationship again... because I am single at 32. I told him that I am over them! He said to me then "Don't you want a family". I said "well if you can find me a ******* magic wand to bring the perfect man to me, then maybe I will, if not then get over it". I think I hurt him a bit.... but do you understand my point of view too?

You're dad is wrong to pressure you into a relationship like that. You're independant now and he can't control him. Though you should probably apologise. He probably just wanted you to be happy and would like some grand kids. You can't blame him for that. That's what every parent wants. Just tell him that you're sorry for what you said but that you are independant now and that you really are trying to find someone, but you don't want to marry somone you don't feel is right. I hope that helps. :)

I understand your point of view, but did you have to curse at your father, he's just concerned about you, you're still his daughter even at 32. He just asked a simple question, because he knows he won't live forever and he just wants to make sure his daughter will be alright when his time comes. You can't blame him for that. You need to understand that you wouldn't be here asking this question if it wasn't for your dad and mom, you should always respect your parents because they're the one who brought you into this world.

Yeah, I understand your frustration, but your dad is only worried about your happiness and perhaps having some grandkids soon before he grow to old. So I think you were a little harsh, but I don't know you or your dad so that's just my opinion.
