This statement or motto indirectly means that there is no middle ground or neutrality.

It also implies that if anyone does not fully support whatever "our side" is doing then they are no longer "with us".

If anyone critisizes "our side" then they are no longer "with us".

"Our side" can commit war crimes or crimes against humanity but we cannot find fault in them because that would be aiding the "enemy".

This is the exact mentality Christians had during the rise and rule of HITLER.

It's the kind of statement a sociopath would make.

My heavens, I never have been flashed, but I did unintentionally flash a few folks once. I was in the hospital some time back and decided to take a stoll to the vending area. Well, I wasn't thinking about what I was wearing and, let's just say that those hospital gowns don't leave a lot to the imagination on the backside. The nurse came up from behind me and put a blanket over my shoulders . . . I was wondering why it was a little drafty back there!

Well I agree with you on the fact that "you're with us or against us" is an extremist statement; it leaves no room for the gray areas, no reom for neturality.

But that's about as far as I'll agree with you. While Hitler and the Nazis did use that mentally to justify their actions and to scare people into at the very least not opposing them, your statement "this is the exact mentality Christians had during the rise and rule of Hitler", like the 'motto', doesn't leave any room for those gray areas.

IT'S "you'RE either with us or against us"
and it was a well thought out observation - too good to be sullied by a mistake in the your/you're thingy.

I remember it being said in the 60s and I believed it; I went to Vietnam because of it.
One or two days after I arrived I realised we'd been sold a lemon.
Consequently when TheCowardlyShrub used it I knew there was a lemon in there somewhere.
It didn't take long to show itself.
Inept ChickenHawks playing soldiers - sending other mothers' sons to do what they were too cowardly to do in the sixties when they were asked to front up.

You ain't kidding it's polarising; you ain't kidding it infers no middle ground; you ain't kidding it infers anyone against is some sort of low-life whose views aren't worth listening to.

You're right about the Hitler comparison - he and his gang were also masters of PsychologicalManipulation.

It comes from racial, extremist, conservatives, liberals,And so on.
The main source is of the human ego demanding that what they believe is right. And if everybody is right, then nobody wants to admit that they are wrong. If nobody is wrong then that leaves us with a "Catch 22" Should it not be something along the line of
"hey, if that's what you believe", that's cool with me and I accept it totally? Just think and listen to your spirit. Our should I say your connection to GOD Or what term you feel correct to use.

It's funny that you mentioned that.
I'm pretty sure Bush said something along the lines of
'Either you're with us, or you're with the terrorists.'

And yes, that is most definitely a motto for radicals and extremists.

It certainly doesn't leave much room for compromise, negotiation, or dissent. Historically the Spartans might have shared this creed. I believe that many radical Muslims have that philosophy. This could also apply to the religious zealots v. Atheists.

No it is not but it is easy to infer from your follow on assertions that you are an idiot. Nothing in your incoherent rambling makes any sense. Your spelling mistakes only validate your stupidity.
