A nice pair of slacks and a blouse, or a simple dress with a decent pair of shoes. No need to go over the top, just try to look nice.

Since its the summer you can wear a simple sundress.
If you don't have anything, buy something you can use for other times as well, whether its a nice dinner out, at work or an interview.

Try going to one of those discount stores, such as Ross Dress for Less, and they have some nice inexpensive dresses. Just a nice simple dress, pant suit, or sun dress will do.

if that's the case, you will probably need to go buy something nice. if you're worried about your budget, make sure it's something you can wear again - a dress that would be good for another wedding or job, dress pamts and a nice blouse, whatever looks nice and mkaes you feel comfortable.

start with the shoes: get some high heeled sandals, they're comfortable
If the wedding is in the summer, get some light colored flowy pants, if you're gutsy enough get them in white or white with some cool design on them
Your top should be fitted and go with what is in, satin, in rich colors like chocolate brown, red, royal blue, etc. You'll look awesome!

Whatever you wear, please do NOT listen to the people telling you to wear white! White is reserved for the bride on her wedding day. Its a huge faux pas, and could cause hard feelings!
A comfortable pair of slacks and a top will do just fine, with a pair of high-heeled sandals.

Why not wear a dress. You are a lady. It will not kill you to wear a dress for a few hours. Dresses are actually very comfortable.
Wear something like this. You will not stick out.

well if u like the person getting married then wear sumthing white and nice makeup.
but if u dont.
then wear something verry provacotive so u look hotter than the bride.
