it sounds like it has already healed (the skin is thin and clear, but skin none-the-less), and has yet to turn into a scar. I have something similar on my upper arm where my dermatologist cut a rather large mole ( it looked like a big fat freckle to me) off my skin. And brilliant me couldn't leave the stupid thing alone. Anyway, there was another cut similar on my leg that had the same problem. if you leave it alone, and it's allowed to breathe it should turn into a proper scar within a few years, sooner if you're not a slow healer like me.

First thing you should not do is pick at your scab. That is about the worst thing you could do.

Vitamin E is suppose to be very good for scabs. Maybe try to get a lotion that has Vitamin E in it. You could also try to get a Vitamin oil and rub that on the scab. It will take some time, but if you don't want to scar, it's the best remedy.

Good luck!
