Both. Some just like the fun and excitement of a live band, or DJ, and being with their friends. They either dance with each other because they aren't looking to hook up, or because no guy has asked them to dance. Guys that are looking to hookup should realize that if they are rejected by several women that they shouldn't take it too personally because the women may not be there for that reason. Many of the women already have significant others, and are not looking to cheat on them, just to have a good time with their friends.

both. when my friends and i go, we want to dance, but we also want to find guys. however, some of us may find guys, and think we found mr. right, then get crushed when he just needs a miss right now! if you know what i mean, so be careful with which girls you hook up with and what their intentions are, you don't wanna hurt anyone's feelings!

i think girls go to clubs to drink and have fun with their girlfriends, so if you are thinking about hooking up with a girl at the clubs GOOD LUCk!

It really depends on the girl's mood... if she's happy, she's there just to dance! If she's sad, she's there to dance and maybe hook up!

My friends and I usually just went to dance. Sometimes we'd go to male gay bars just so we wouldn't be hit on.
