Are there restrictions on how much money you can take out, or anything with property or taxes? Education and health care; are they worse or better or the same? Do people still feel free? Is it harder to start a business? Easier or harder to make money? How are things there now? I visited in 1990, so a lot has happened, I'm sure.

Well, I am not Venezuelan and I dont live there but I can tell you about some good friends of mine. They are a well known family, they own a lot of land with cattle and have a big dairy place. They produce cheese and milk and yogurt and Chavez has already taken 1/3 of their land arguing that it's too much for a family to have. That's pure communist to me! This family (Hernandez) have worked their butts off for this farm to produce, they have thousands of employees and treat them all well. It's not their fault that they have now a lot of money. They are fighting for the rest of their land as Chavez has threatened to take more land from them saying that he doesnt want "feudal lords exploiting the poor peasants". However, part of this family is currently living in Miami as life is unvearable for them in venezuela right now (threats and stuff like that). The men are trying to save their business by staying and working their land. And they are not the only family suffering like this, Chavez is going after all the entrepreneurs with money.
