Which deserves a visit first, Bogota or Quito?

It depends on what you're looking for. Personally I would go to Quito first and if I go to Colombia I would go first to Medellin or Cali, I really dont fancy going to Bogota again. I've been to both (Quito and Bogota) and I liked Quito much more basically because I went looking for the Escuela Quiteña de arte colonial and the museums were great. Been twice to Bogota, I liked the city the second time but I definetly fell in love with Cali and Medellin. So it really depends on why are you travelling there (why did you choose those two places) and what are you looking for and if you can only afford one at a tome or if you can squash both in the same trip and avoid choosing!
