Usually when my birthday comes, I literally don't care much and it's as if it's just another day. This year for some odd reason I'm excited. My mom started it off by sending me a card in the mail (I see her regularly, but ok...). So why am I so different this year? It's like I'm just so happy. And I can't figure it out. Have you experienced something similar?
And thank you TS for that question. I'm so thankful to have friends like you, and to know some of the greatest people who are a thousand times better than me in some areas from a range of religions. I truly appreciate all of those who know the real me.

Proud Muslimah, when one is givng happiness out to others, it returns to them. There is no greater fulfillment than to make another person's life a little brighter, to make a person smile, where before they were frowning.

This is it. You feel your birthday different this year because you have so many more friends than your previous birthdays. Friends do not have to be physically there, just think about your friends in Yahoo! Answers, how much time per day do you spend talking to them, asking for advice and educating them with things they don't know. It's goo to hear that you are happy, may Allah fill your life with happiness. Amen
