I.D. theft. As if breaking into the country wasn't enough. Not to mention trespassing, and driving without licenses or insurance.

OK, HERE'S MY NEUTRAL VIEW.
Without being pro or anti- immigration or harboring any feelings of resentment at immigrants/sentiments for immigrants/sentiments towards citizens:

It's how immigrants get by. The pros: they follow the law. The cons: they get into trouble with the law. Challenging indeed. Society needs more structure.

Like Diaz, who says:
“I’ve been talking to other people who’ve done it, and I want to follow the law,”

AND HERE
..."millions of illegal immigrants find themselves collaborating with one federal agency — the Internal Revenue Service — while trying to avoid another — Immigration and Customs Enforcement."

Is this a great country or what, you have a class of people that get to pick and choose what laws they deem worthy of obeying

There might be a few paying taxes. So what. Not enough to absorb their cost. The big deal is that they are ILLEGAL. They are criminals.

So, until now they have been paying taxes using someone else's SSN -- but the money still goes into the tax coffers.

Now, they actually want to pay taxes legally -- and people are still vehemently against allowing them to pay taxes?
