I think the average person needs 8 hours. But like you said, some people could use less or more. However, I've noticed that eventually everyone gets 8 hours after a long time. Just depends.
I need 9 hours to feel awesome, but I can work with 8.

For most adults, 7 to 8 hours a night appears to be the best amount of sleep, although the amount ranges from 5 hours to 10 hours of sleep each day depending on the individual.

Hmm I get alot of sleep. I also like napping, I thought I was diabetic, but I went to tests and what not. I'm not.
My grandma is 53 right and she heads to work 6 in the morning and goes to bed around 9 at night and wakes up 4 or 5 in the morning. She has a good sceduale.
I can put my self on a sceduale like sleeping for 9 hours but I can't sleep too long because when I do wake up I will over-sleep and be more tired. I am 17 years of age.
Also my parents don't sleep long like tonight it its 20 to 1 in the night and they are just going to bed now and they have to be up in the morning around 8:30 because of the baby and the jobs. And this is a routine.
Me?, I can sleep anytime because I am not on a sceduale.
But anyways i'd say 6-9 hours is good enough for adults.
Some busy ones that live in the big cities they only sleep like 4 hours a night and go to work early in the morning like 7am. I watched this show and they talked to random people on the street. Yeah.

For the average adults... its 6-8 hours of slep.... and im my opinion, no you cant lose brain cells by not sleeping long enough haha or else our entire country would pretty much be stupid right now haha.... yeah if youre tired, its common sense that your reaction time will slow down and youll be too tired to focus 100% in the classroom..... i feel that anyone younger than 19 should be getting 8-10 hours of sleep, and anyone older should get from 6-9 hours of sleep... anymore than 10 hours of sleep is just a waste......

I perfer to get 8 hrs. of sleep because it's not too much and not too little. But I heard that 9 hrs. is okay too. Umm...if you're trying to get the right amount of sleep go to bed at a reasonable time, leave your window open (with a screen blocking the bugs of course), leave your curtain blind open, and let the sun wake you up in the morning. It's a really peaceful way to wake up. And I usually wake up earlier than I would normally. And, if you're lucky, you might get to hear the birds outside also, haha.

The older we get, it seems the less sleep we need. I know I could've slept 8-12 hours years ago, now I'm lucky if I get 6.
Teens need between 8-12 because they are still growing and all the hormonal changes.
I'd kill for 8 hours of restful sound sleep!

Of all the people I've met over my adult life,
what I have heard is that their sleep patterns
exceed 4 hours of sleep, but generally are less than 10 hrs.
........especially short nights if the person is the parent of babies or young children!

they are practise you for the genuine international. And telling somebody to strengthen up isn't impolite. actual, you're appearing infantile with the help of responding to that. A mature guy or woman could basically permit it bypass. Its intense college. no person's going to care approximately what you think of in college. You the two arise or you do no longer. The professors do no longer particularly care. i've got long gone to mattress at 2 AM and gotten up at 6:50 and nevertheless went to college. and that i'm 15. Its particularly no longer a great deal. no person needs to arise that early, fairly no teen. yet are they going to alter it? probable no longer. in case you postpone college till 10:30, you would be in school till around 5:00. In wintry climate, its already dark with the help of 5. countless human beings ought to stroll abode from college. strolling abode in the dark isn't risk-free. fairly for youthful ladies. subsequently, there's a superb reason college starts off early. And in case you have a difficulty with it, I propose you're taking it up with the solar because of the fact the colleges have not have been given any administration over that.

If you use an alarm clock to wake you; then you are severely sleep deprived. We need 8 hours.
